The Beyond the Cross© personalized mans and ladies rings were the inspiration for the Beyond the Cross© series. The series is a representation and reminder of 1 Peter 3:18 which says “For Christ suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, …” Symbolically the cross that Christ died on bridges the gap between God and us. This gap of course was the result of mans’ sin which separated us from God and caused a spiritual death within man.

The word God is cut out on one side of the ring and the name or initials of the person wearing it is cut out on the other side of the ring giving it special meaning. The cut out cross spans from one side of the ring to the other and is a reminder that we have the opportunity to experience salvation and the rebirth of our spirit. This is what re-establishes our relationship with God. However, God does not want us to remain there. He wants us to move into a deeper relationship that goes “Beyond” our initial salvation. This was the inspiration for the series called “Beyond the Cross©” which the Holy Spirit put into the designer’s heart

He incorporated the Dove (symbol for the Holy Spirit) into this design which is seen only by looking through –or beyond-- the cut out cross. The Holy Spirit is the one who leads us to that intimate relationship. He is the unseen presence that lives in us, reveals God to us, but is a mystery to those who refuse to believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
